Tour of Lockport
Fire Station 6 Museum


Place: Fire Station 6, 19623 Renwick Rd, Crest Hill, IL

Date & Time: Saturday March 24, 9:00 am

Tour the museum that was created to collect and preserve the Lockport Volunteer Fire Department Inc. & the Lockport Township Fire District's firefighting history.
Many of the items collected were donated by the past and present members of the fire department along with contributions from the public. The museum features a replica of the old City of Lockport City Hall that the original volunteers placed a hose cart in. It also has an old wooden water main from the City of Lockport.
Lt. John Matthews will then give a presentation on the history of the LTFPD.
Meet promptly at 9:00 am at Fire Station 6 (next to Prairie Bluff Golf Course)
Attendance is free and the public is invited.
